Robert Pierre was taken into custody on April 14, 2023 by detectives from the judicial police (DCPJ) for his alleged involvement in a number of crimes, including the illegal trafficking of firearms. In their note, the Police emphasize fire, ammunition, and criminal affiliation. At the time of the suspect’s arrest at the nightclub Le Goûter’s Delmas 32 location, DCPJ agents discovered a significant amount of cash valued at 4,453,574 HTG in his possession, along with a handgun, a 12 gauge shotgun, a ballistic helmet, several communication devices, and other illegal materials.
