On the evening of March 2, 2023, armed persons set fire to the sub-police station of Fort-Jacques, a neighborhood in Pétion Ville.
The act was done about two in the morning in the neighborhood of Lotin, in Fort-Jacques, according to information provided to our editorial staff.
Due to the bandits who have been active in the heights of Pétion-Ville for some time, the police officers assigned to the aforementioned sub-police station were not able to notice the damage until this morning when they arrived at their place of employment. They are required to vacate this area every afternoon.
This morning, an armored police car was seen outside of the burned-out building’s grounds. Members of the group were being pursued by authorities in their headquarters in Torcel.
