After deciding to free Williams Raymond, the head of the “Kokorat sans ras” gang, Sérard Gasius, the government commissioner at the Gonaives court of first instance, was fired on Monday. Williams Raymond is charged with theft, rape, kidnapping and forced detention, as well as the hijacking of a cargo vehicle, among other offenses.
