Due to the high level of security in the neighborhood, Sogebank advised its clients that its branch on rue Pavée in the heart of Port-au-Prince will be temporarily closed on Monday, March 27, 2023.
“Sogebank informs you that the branch on rue Pavée is temporarily closed due to the precarious security situation currently existing in downtown Port-au-Prince,” reads the note.
Another financial institution in the heart of Port-au-Prince is now being targeted by gang violence following the National Bank of Credit’s recent closure due to security concerns.
Officials from Sogebank continued, “It welcomes people to stop by the closest SOGEBANK branch and use online services for their transactions.
