d’Argent dit Franckétienne, a renowned writer and painter from Haiti, will host an exhibition of his works. The multi-talented artist confides on “Le Point,” a television program on channel 52 in Haiti, Télé Métropole, that he is having a tough time meeting his requirements. He explains that right now, only divine compassion is allowing him to survive. For four days, the “Mûr à Crever” author will host an exhibition in his Delmas 31 house, followed by sales of his artwork. He will be able to deal with the financial issues the renowned author is currently facing by engaging in this activity. Franckétienne is an author of many books and paintings. Franckétienne, a prolific author and painter, is 87 years old. He worked as a teacher in Haiti for more than 60 years, both in public and private institutions. Additionally, he served as the Minister of Culture under Leslie F. Manigat’s administration.
