The 100% Diaspora committee, under the leadership of Jacques Garry, has taken the initiative to help mothers in the city’s underprivileged neighborhoods, aware of the critical state of people with disabilities in Haiti, especially mothers.
More than two dozen mothers have been identified by the organization in areas such as Delmas, Port-au-Prince, Tabarre, and Croix-des-Bouquets. These women were provided with snacks and the necessary allowances to support themselves. We‘re waging a battle for the less fortunate in this country. “This is why we have made the commitment to celebrate with mothers with reduced mobility in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince on the occasion of Mother’s Day,” said Jacques Garry, internal director of the 100% Diaspora committee.
