The General Administration of Customs (AGD) claims it has staked on additional annexes, including those of Cap-Haitien, the Airport, Belladère, and Ouanaminthe, which are currently quite active, in addition to the customs revenue from the Port of Port-au-Prince comprising more than 90% of revenue.

The AGD claims that because of the ongoing instability in those areas, it has recorded this collecting record at a time when activity is slowing down there. In essence, some of the actions that are a part of a series of “strengthening customs control through mechanisms put in place after the customs clearing process, unifying customs surveillance and the customs intelligence system to optimize the fight against fraud and smuggling”
