According to a top executive of the AGD who asked to remain anonymous, the level of performance reached in May represents the largest amount of customs income ever recorded in Haiti.
In order to maximize the battle against fraud and smuggling, he notes that the new measures aim to increase customs control and monitoring, notably with the intelligence system.

By focusing on the modernization of the general customs administration, AGD officials reaffirm their commitment to working to improve the quality of services at the customs level.
