The epicenter was situated at a depth of 12 kilometers, 20 kilometers southwest of La Gonâve Island (West Department), 53 kilometers northwest of Miragoâne (Nippes Department), and 120 kilometers northwest of Port-au-Prince (West Department) at latitude 18.79 degrees North and longitude 73.44 degrees West.
This scarcely felt seismic impact has not resulted in any recorded fatalities or damage, according to Civil Protection.
