Police earlier this week detained Dorestant Roosevelt, a member of the criminal group “400 Mawozo,” on the Champs de Mars in front of the Departmental Unit for Keeping Order base (UDMO)
Roosevelt, who is 39 years old and is originally from Port-au-Prince, is charged with taking part in many kidnapping, murder, armed robbery, and criminal organization cases.
Also, on Saturday, February 25, 2023, John Peterson Mose, alias “Jhonny,” a resident of the Commune of Estère (Dept. Artibonite), was mortally injured in gunfire with the police. He was a member of the Canaan gang and an active member of the Rosemberg-based gang led by “Patrick.”
For kidnappings, thefts, and hijackings, Peterson Mose was wanted by the police.
