The Festival Haiti en Folie is excited to reveal the complete lineup for its 19th edition, scheduled to take place in Montreal from July 23 to 27, 2025, in a hybrid format: both online and outdoors at Park Lafontaine, the Quartier des Spectacles, the Jardins Gamelin, Park des Compagnons, and other locations. Organized by the Fabienne Colas Foundation and sponsored by TD Bank Group, the Festival Haiti en Folie stands as the largest multidisciplinary music festival of its kind outside of Haiti, fully dedicated to celebrating Haitian culture. This year, the festival is elevating its offerings with a vibrant, festive, and unforgettable program. The team is making a significant impact by introducing, for the first time, two prominent figures from the music industry: the international sensation of Compas (Konpa). The lineup features, among others: Oswald Band, a genuine idol for the younger audience, alongside the iconic group Boukan Ginen, founded by singer Eddy François, a renowned folk and traditional roots music ensemble, in addition to a remarkable array of artists of Haitian descent, including Tamara Suffren, Ricky Jay, the Montreal Community Chorale, Waahli, Bèl Vyb, DJ Nalee, and DJ Rleen. The festival’s traditional Rara parade will also make a return for its ninth consecutive year, hosted by Rara Jazz and Ayiti Makaya. A significant new addition this year is a lively tribute concert to Coupé Cloué and the 70th anniversary of Compas, featuring a special appearance by DJ Nonez. “Compas meets voodoo music? What boldness!” This encapsulates the essence of the Festival Haiti en Folie: dynamic rhythms, delicious and spicy cuisine, thought-provoking discussions, a lively celebration, a renewed exploration, a tribute to the richness and diversity of Haitian culture, and a whole lot of excitement. I encourage the public to embark on a unique journey during the festival, filled with sharing, discovery, connections, emotions, and solidarity with the Haitian community,” stated Fabienne Colas, the founding president of the Festival Haïti en Folie.
